I started in 2012, in the original Graduate Academy working within the Group’s regulated engineering team. From there, I developed a successful permanent desk for a few years before developing a team of 4 consultants within the FMCG market, having been promoted to Section Manager.

In 2017, the business made the decision to create a dedicated life sciences business, with myself and Nathan Sutton coming together along with our teams. We worked hard to create the branding, the values and the culture across our combined teams and develop the new brand.

Following the successful launch of Blackfield Associates, we started the journey to internationalise the brand, making placements in 6 different countries, and strategically mapping the next 5 years of the business.

I was promoted to Operations Director in 2020, and since this point have seen exceptional year-on-year growth. We now have a team of over 25 consultants, with an office in Switzerland and an international footprint across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.
