I joined STR in 2018 as a HR Business Partner. Shortly after joining, I was promoted to HR Manager and then in 2022 was promoted to HR Director, responsible for the whole of the HR function, which includes Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development.
One of the biggest challenges I have faced since joining STR was Covid, it was new territory for everyone – something none of us had ever been through before!
I love working for STR as they are such a family-friendly organisation. STR gives you the flexibility to still attend the school events or work from home when needs be, which is invaluable as a parent. STR also allows me to be innovative within the HR space, and gives me a voice when putting forward ideas. The other reason STR is a great place to work is that everyone gets rewarded through various events and incentives throughout the year, no matter what their job role.
